School Interview Schedule : Immediately Curriculum & Class Description - EFL & ESL, collaborative-teaching involved - G1-6 for Elementary School or - G7-9 for Junior High - Each class 25-40 students - Office hour Mon - Fri 8 am - 4 / 5 pm (8hrs), 20-25 classes weekly, 40-50 min per class
Compensation * please note that all details are conditional in accordance with the school contract * all numbers are pretax * monthly cost of living in Taiwan is USD 700-900 - http://goo.gl/rtkMGN * currency conversion - http://www.xe.com/ - Airfare Reimbursement up to TWD 80000 for round-trip (around USD 2650) and another TWD 80000 for one family member - Monthly Housing Allowance TWD 5000 ( around USD 170 ) and another TWD 5000 for one family member - Monthly Salary Bachelor TWD 62720 ( around USD 2090 ), Master TWD 69965 ( around USD 2250 ) - Annual Performance Bonus available (up to one month salary) - Paid Vacation: Winter vacation, conditionally in accordance with the school calendar - Insurance available - Years of service considerable - Tax Abide by MOF, the tax rate of the first 183 days in one taxable year is 18 %. The tax rate is eligible to be considered as 6 % after the completion of 183 days in one taxable year. Foreign tax payers are mandatory to file tax, and would be eligible to claim a tax refund when the overall stay is over 183 days in one taxable year.
Job Requirement
- Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university in English Language
- Hold a certified K-12 teaching license (any subject is welcomed), accept valid substitute teaching permit or provisional status
